A Bereavement Café is a space where people can talk about the pain of loss, and also find courage and strength in knowing they are not alone.
As a Hospice Care family support practitioner Bianca Neumann-May says, “Losing a loved one can turn your world upside down and make you feel lost. Everyone experiences grief in a unique way. We want the Bereavement Café to be a place where people who have had similar experiences can share their stories.”
The cafe is not designed to be a counselling session but is a supportive environment for reflection, conversation and a place where people will be able to find mutual support and encouragement.
At a Bereavement Cafe you will find people who will listen, and respect your story.
We meet in our Church Hall in the afternoons when our hall is free, with tea, coffee and cake provided.
We hope the word will be spread and look forward to welcoming more people on our following meetings.
Wednesday 30th October
Wednesday 28th November
Both meetings 2.30 - 4.00pm
Please contact Father Stephen for further information or if you are able to help.
