Family Services are usually held once a month, except in August and are open to all ages. The service is very child friendly and interactive, but there is also an area at the back of the church with toys, colouring and books where children can play during the service. Other services which may appeal to families are on Mothering Sunday, Easter Sunday (with an egg hunt), Harvest Festival and the very popular Crib Service and Christingle on Christmas Eve.
St Francis Junior Choir welcomes children from the age of 6 years
and meets in the Church each Thursday in term time from 6- 6.50pm.
The club is run by a professional singing teacher and combines good
vocal technique, a wide range of music and plenty of fun! The children
are required to sing at the Family Service and there is the opportunity
to participate in community fund-raising and an informal annual concert.
