Welcome to St Francis
(Temporary home page)
The Government has published its details (as of the 24th June) on what you can and can not do after the 4th July, please click here to be taken to the website for all the appropriate information, also including all religious services.
For the Church as a whole, it will take time to look at all the information and assess how we move forward and the limitations involved.
So, what I am hoping for is that over the next few days is that clearer guidelines will be forthcoming from the Rochester Diocese and the Church of England and as soon as these two bodies publish anything
I will highlight on the site
Fr Stephen has now sent round his own guidelines for morning worship, click the link for full details
What we do know
Firstly, the Church is now open for private prayer
from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm daily
We do ask that you are mindful of social distancing rules
whilst in our building.
Please click here to see the full list.
Secondly, we will be resuming our church worship from
Sunday 5th July
Starting with 8 am Traditional language (said service),
10.30 am Mass, (Family Service)
5.00 pm Evensong
again, all with mindful social distancing rules.
One decision reached by us, is to live stream these services as we do at the moment to help people who feel it might be too early to return to church at the present time.
To keep you up to date with matters within the Rochester Diocese please click on the link to be taken to the web site to read the latest edition of the online magazine
Unfortunately our hall is also still currently closed, but we are taking provisional future bookings. If you do have any questions about the above services for a future date, or indeed hall bookings, then please click on the contact us link.
However it doesn't mean that you will not be able to see the rest of our Web site and please click through on the various headings to see all the details and information we have to offer.
Sunday and Weekday Streaming Details page
and the Church Readings Sermons and Prayer page then hopefully after the 5th July our website will be able to return to looking very similar to how it was before lockdown be it with a couple of extra pages to help those who might not be quite ready to return.
Should you need to talk, then please visit our contact us page for details of ways to get in touch.
