Community Groups at our Hall
THE ‘NEW NORMAL’ AT THE COMMUNITY HALL
As you can imagine, the COVID-19 crisis has had a detrimental effect on Church/Community Halls and ours is no exception!
The good news is that, after much discussion with hirers (who have produced their own Risk Assessments) and researching Government guidelines and legislation, the St Francis Community Hall Hall is now open and as popular as ever.
There are many groups who are using the Hall – they are strictly adhering to social distancing/hand-washing guidelines and they have implemented other practices to mitigate the spread of the disease. The Hall has two QR Code notices (see image below) so that visitors can “check in” using the new NHS COVID-19 App and there are plenty of health and safety notices to help people as well as copious quantities of hand sanitiser!
The groups which are “up and running” include the Bright Beginnings Pre-school (5 days a week with lunchtime club options), Yoga, Pilates, Ballroom Dancing and Dance Fusion.
Another six groups have also expressed their interest in restarting when the time is right for them, and we will keep you updated on this.
Please click on the links (to your right) to find more detailed information regarding meeting times/days and contact details for the various groups.
If you need any further information, then please contact Dave Ince on 07887 864865.
On a positive note we would like to welcome
