Big Band in Concert
Saturday 9th October at 7.30 - 9.30 pm
For those of you who enjoy “live music” and the classic sounds of a 16-piece Big Band, come along and immerse yourself in a bygone era
Pieces like: Tuxedo Junction; Satin Doll, Strike up the Band; All of Me; I Got Rhythm; American Patrol; and Shake, Rattle and Roll, just to name a few!
Tickets will be £10 and will include wine, refreshments and snacks/nibbles in the interval.
In addition, there will be a Raffle.

Lunchtime Music in the Church

Pop in to listen to some lunch-time classical organ music played by talented local organist
Sara will be playing every second Thursday of the month
at the same time.

Petts Wood Branch
Service of Remembrance
Sunday 14th November
in St Francis Church
The service will be conducted by
Reverend Duncan MacBean
In addition can we also make you aware that if you are attending this Service that we will have
Covid-19 restrictions in place at the time of the Service, and it is very much hoped that
face coverings will be worn in the Church, although please note we are arranging the
Service without social distancing..
With this is mind, if you do feel at all uncomfortable to attend this service, we will be live streaming the service through our Streaming services page, by clicking the link St Francis Petts Wood, you will also find a link to the Remembrance Service sheet on the right.
FOLLOWING THE CHURCH SERVICE
The Parade will process to the Garden of Remembrance
at the corner of Woodland Way and Petts Wood Road
for the traditional Silence at 11:00 O’clock
followed by the Wreath Laying Ceremony.
ALL MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATION ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE CONTINUATION OF THE SERVICE AT THE GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE

Festal Choral Evensong
Sunday 21st November 6.00 pm
A special celebration to mark Stephen's 50 years serving as a very important part in the music of St Francis.
Please come along and help him celebrate this anniversary and join with him in a drink after the service.
Petts Wood Operatic Society
On Saturday 4th December
in the Church
This will be a celebration of the greatest musical theatre moments from 1944 right up to today.
With a selection of rip-roaring full company numbers, emotional solos and tantalising trios and duets.
